Artistically manipulated textiles

Lessons on site or in streaming, the students of Fashion Design at the Accademia Italiana continue to work and experiment with old and new concepts, recycling, reusing, and manipulation of fabrics.

Sometimes creating new textiles, or recuperating old ones in the store room to transform them with prints, embroidery or other inventions.
Professor Marco de’ Micheli tells the story, pleased at the growing sensibility of his students, hard at work in the laboratories or at home, on various kinds of creations from which messages echo against racism and encouraging integration amongst cultures.
