"Fuori salone" during the Milan international furniture fair

In parallel with the International Furniture Fair in Milan (Salone del Mobile), where prototypes and projects of the Interior and Product Design students will be on display in the Salone Satellite, students of the Accademia Italiana will also have the opportunity to propose their talents with innovative projects in the field of wall coverings and furnishings.

The idea for this project came out of the collaboration between the Accademia and the company Janelli&Volpi, leaders in the field of wallpaper, wall coverings, textiles for furnishings and accessories.

The project was explained to the students by Arch. Paola Janelli, head of the company, during an encounter on March 11 at the Accademia where she also illustrated the history and the philosophy of the company. The best proposals elaborated by the students in the Graphic design and in the Interior design programs will be displayed at an event "fuori salone", thus opening up even more possibilities of entrance into the working world for the young designers in a field that is taking over ever more interesting sector of the marketplace.

The appointment then is in Milan, at the exhibition in Via Melzo n. 7, press point for PORTA VENEZIA IN DESIGN, a "fuori salone" event that unites the design, art and Liberty architecture present in this area of the city, open from April 9 to 14.
