Architect, born in Florence where she lives and works. She is mainly interested in Restoration, Design and Interior design. She has concentrated her work in the field of furnishing because it has always attracted her. She grew up in her father’s architect’s studio where she collaborated on numerous projects, and consequently learnt the multiple nature of the relationships between planning and executing. She worked on the field – on building sites, surveying, and finally in Interior Design in both public and private buildings, where she has always worked hard researching materials and finishings with particular attention to new trends.
She perfected her training by doing a variety of courses and seminars specializing in the field of Bioarchitecture, Botanics, Lighting, Historic Gardens, Shop Windows, and Packaging.
In 1991, she began working at the Accademia Italiana in Florence, where today she teaches in the three-year Design course, and in the one-year Design of Retail Spaces course. Courses are held both in Italian and in English. In 2002, she taught Furniture Design at the Accademia Italiana in Bangok, where she returned in 2007 to held a workshop entitled “Natural Elements and the Study of Design Objects”.
From 2006, she has been Vice Head of Department of the Design couse, and she is currently an internal member of the Evaluation Commission of the didactic and research activities of MIUR - ANVUR.
