VIDEO & SOUND PRODUCTION course accademia italiana

professional course

The Video & Sound Production course offers 250 hours of study culminating in a professional certificate from the institute.
Video production is a skill that can be used in many fields: short movies for fashion, music videos, documentaries, independent short films. The course is structured so that students will learn both the theory and practical skills needed to shoot film, edit video and create an audio track.

The one-year Video & Sound Editing course does not require previous knowledge of the subject. The aim is to train students to become professionals who can fully, autonomously manage all aspects of creating video. The program is structured in such a way as to ensure that students develop the practical and theoretical skills necessary to create a high quality product. The production of video as it is currently defined involves several areas: short movies for fashion, music videos, documentaries and independent productions of short films. This course is designed for all students, graduate and undergraduate, interested in acquiring specialized training in this area.

The course begins by introducing all of the technical aspects necessary to create the first draft of a screenplay. The fundamental steps of cinematography will be addressed, ranging from digital production to assembly, to the study of film history, up to the development of an audio track. The course will also include opportunities for field experience.

The practical aspect of the course will address the technical problems that accompany production: directing, cinematography and actors, management of the set, stage and costume design, special effects and mixing. The course ends with the preparation of a final project that will include all of the subjects studied, created independently by the students under the supervision of their instructors. Awarded a diploma at the end of the course, students will be prepared to work either freelance or as part of a team, able to personally manage all phases of the creation of a film or video.
